Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
Cat Dropper is operated as a separate product. This policy covers the Cat Dropper Chrome extension, local/development API, and website.
What we collect
- Account data you submit: username, email, and password.
- Workspace data you generate in the extension: research sellers, product links, listing drafts, fulfillment notes, and profit totals.
- Page data the extension reads on Amazon and eBay tabs you open for research or listing, such as titles, prices, images, and seller names.
- Payment metadata processed by Stripe if you subscribe. Cat Dropper does not store full card numbers.
How we use it
We use this data to run your Cat Dropper workspace, authenticate you, gate paid features, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information.
Storage and sharing
Extension state is stored in Chrome local storage on your computer. When you connect a Cat Dropper backend, workspace data is stored on Cat Dropper servers you control. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not send extension code from a remote server.
Permissions
The extension requests tab, scripting, and storage access plus host access to Amazon and eBay so it can research products and open listing pages. Localhost access is used only to talk to your Cat Dropper API during development.
